Rusty is such a Puerto Escondido local now that this is just a normal day for him. Surfline honored Rusty with Wave of The Day by showing off this long Mexican barrel.
Mr. Tibs has crash-landed in America and we won't be sending him back. The Frenchman turned Californian has been skating like mad and just scored a slightly revealing interview with Heelside Mag. Pick up the latest issue to get your taste of french fried shred.

Being that Kyle Thiermann is always grabbing the bull by the horns, it was no surprise to see him actually riding bulls and grabbing massive barrels. When he's not saving the world you can find him in the green room.

Easily the most talked about release this week comes from Toronto’s own Death From Above 1979. The Canadian dance punk duo returns after a long hiatus with the relentless and pounding first track “Trainwreck 1979”. We checked it out, dug it, and think you will too. 'The Physical World' is out Sept 9th on Last Gang Records.
The Downhill Division came ready to ride at the Maryhill Festival of Speed. Good fortune brought dry roads and fast tail winds making for some impressive pack riding. Congratulations to Connor Ferguson for staying fast and taking 1st in Juniors, and to Jimmy Riha and Ricardo Reis for taking 5th and 6th in Open.
Wheelbase Magazine has released their coverage of the 2014 San Pedro Shred. The Downhill Division was stacked and they relentlessly shredded the hill with other top pros. Skate on.

Returning for its 9th year and with a new location, the Sector 9 Go Skateboarding Day Poker Run was back with a bang... or a bean. The group skated to Robb Field in Ocean Beach to set off the 1st annual Go Skate Day Dodgeball Tournament. Food, giveaways, and fist-fulls of cash were only the beginning as dodgeballers sacrificed their bodies in the name of skateboarding.
