The Guajataka Downhill race just went down in Puerto Rico and the Sector 9 Downhill Division crushed it!! Victor got onto a plane for the first time and was happy to skate with the locals… Enjoy some Quick Clips as they session the slide jam and battle through the crowded corners of the Guajataka Downhill Race.
Last weekend at a top secret hill Chance Gaul took 2nd in an all-Laguna final for Juniors, and big dude Daniel Luna came in 2nd in the pros. Watch out for these dudes flying past you on your hill. Congrats to Gullwing rider Tim Del Rosario for winning it all!
The Downhill Division took Calgary by storm for the 2012 IGSA World Championships at Winsport. Our band of hooligans didn’t pull out the win, but they sure won the party! High-Fives to Daniel Luna, Louis Pilloni, Chance Gaul, Jeff Budro, Matt Kienzle, and thanks to Gabe Gwynne and Jackson Shapiera for the film/edit.
“So we just got back down from the mountains after Buffalo Bill, and I have never been so tired from riding all day at an event. There were over 200 riders that all raced and it ran smooth as hell! Micah Green got 6th, Brendan Davidson got 7th, and I got knocked out in the quarter finals… luckily not by a deer. Chance also got 2nd in the Groms/Geezers/Womens divison. Here’s some photos from the event and after party.”
For the third year running, Northern California’s favorite downhill jam returned to Menlo Park. Featuring a closed road, ramps, rails, music, food and fun, this year was better then ever! With over 100 skaters and even more specators, there was never a dull moment. And to top it all off Louis and Chance both took 1st place!!
Whistler is a beautiful place with amazing roads to skate. Once a year the city shuts down one of the best and hosts the Whistler Longboard Festival. Louis Pilloni, Jeff Budro, Chance Gaul, Daniel Luna, Matt Kienzle, and Ozzy Gabe headed up to the land of Maple and laid down some fast times. Rain or Shine these guys were skating!
