Sector 9 was everywhere this last weekend. Micah Green took 2nd at Newton’s Nation in Australia and Puerto Rican, Jomar Guzman, got third in the Catalina Classic. Downhill Division kicks off a nice start to the race season, congrats boys!
Looks like Harry tore it up in some perfect logging conditions while taking out the best loggers in the world at the Joel Tudor Duct Tape Pro in Noosa, Australia.
Congrats Harry Roach!!
What to do in between heats in Australia??? Well if you are Balaram Stack you go and boardslide a 9 stair rail, nail it, and high five your friends. Most surf cats couldn’t even ollie the set while Balaram handles it in two tries.
Claire charges Pipe, does mean laybacks, and has some serious skills on the skateboards. Currently she is in West Oz growing kale, surfing empty line ups, and teaching kids to shred. We love this girl!
Despite being on the mend, Jackson Shapiera rallied the local boys and the Hopkins shop groms for a day in the 9-Ball Van. Cold in the US means its skating season in Australia, so Jacko and the crew are everywhere!
Is he in a rush for a hot date? Is he late for a race? No, but he is on the fast track to recovery. This is some footage from before his injury, and just a quick reminder that Jacko will be back!!!
You know how when you take someone back to a skate spot that you grew up shredding and its not nearly as cool as it used to be? Case in point with this one as Jarrah brings us to a little shred spot that would be great if we were 6 inches tall… He still had a barefoot session on it.
