Shane Allen has a knack for sniffing out any pool and he’s been ripping this one for years. Bill Sharp captures the shred session.
When the Unheard Dist. team rolls into town the local boys come to destroy. PDX's Nick Peterson, Daniel Evans, and John Morgan get a beer soaked welcome from Tyler Martin, Shaun Ross, Elijah Anderson, Alan Young, Jake "Poptart" Welch, Keith Baldassare, and Todd Hallien.
San Diego mag, Typical Culture, recently turned 5 and celebrated the occasion at the Bread Bowl. Beers and tacos were the appetizer, a grizzly bowl session for dinner, and the premier of TC's new film "Still VXing" was desert. Tyler Martin also came through landing some lofty hip tricks and primate rafter drops.
When they decided to do construction on the Banzai Skatepark back in November all of the locals were thrilled. That was up until they filled the bowl with dirt and let the park sit closed and dormant for months. Billy Fortier and Jon Steele could no longer sit by and watch, so they barged it... check the photos: http://www.confuzine.com/2014/01/14/park-barge-banzai-skate-park-oahu-hawaii/
Danny Tumia, aka Skeletor, aka Santa, has gathered all of his elves for a holiday thrash-a-thon in the Dos Bowl workshop just in time for Christmas. After making toys all year long the elves needed to cut loose... and so did santa.

Our brother from Puerto Rico, Alexis Rivera, has been presented with a truly massive challenge. Alexis was diagnosed with cancer last month, at the young age of 25, and needs all of our help. Please read the passage below from his good friend Pedro Huck Rosa and contribute whatever you can.
Remember how lucky we all really are during this holiday season... donate here: http://www.gofundme.com/5jxgn4
In October, during a recent trip to the United States in which he was working to bring exposure to a group of Puerto Rican children competing on a major skate contest that took place in Florida, Alexis started to experience much pain and swelling in his groin area. As soon as he came back to Puerto Rico, he checked in to the hospital and had to undergo an emergency operation to remove what seemed to be a tumor. Two weeks later when the tumor biopsy results came in, Alexis was diagnosed with cancer, which originated in his testicular area and has now spread towards his abdomen.
Previous to his soon to start chemo treatment, Alexis had to undergo various studies which weren't covered by his health insurance. As of now, Alexis is slated to begin his chemotherapy sessions this friday December 6th. His oncologist is very optimistic of his recovery due to Alexis' athletic condition and his high spirit and will to overcome his illness. This has been a rough couple of months for him, his family and friends. This page was created to raise funds towards life expenses that he and his family will incur throughout this long journey ahead. Please feel free to contribute whatever you can, help spread awareness and support during this tough time. Anything will be appreciated! With your help, we can help chip away at the costs of Alexis' growing medical bills and also help his family cover basic costs to take care of him, including his recovery, their transportation for visits to the hospital and assistance to cover living costs. We are also asking as we get together with our families and loved ones this Holiday Season, please keep Alexis and his family in your thoughts and prayers throughout Alexis' quest to Fight Cancer!
Alexis would like to thank his family, his friends, sponsors and all the people who support his skateboarding for all the love and support they have shown him through all his career.
Peace, light and many blessings, everyone!"
